Fanning Learning Center
SCHOOL DESCRIPTION:
The Fanning Learning Center (FLC) provides educational services to regular education students in an alternative school setting. Students referred to FLC must have a history of school disengagement, academic failure, and behavioral issues in the traditional school setting. Once accepted to FLC, students have the opportunity to learn and grow in a small, structured, and engaging environment. In addition, FLC provides students with a safe, respectful, and nurturing school community. With the support of our staff and their families, students receive a quality education enabling them to become positive members of our community.
STUDENT PROFILE:
FLC serves regular education students enrolled in grades 8, 9, and 10 whose ages range from 13 to 16 years old. Grade 10 students may not become 17 years old before the month of December while enrolled at FLC.
